WHAT?   A picnic party!  Lunch will be provided – please bring your own drink and something to sit on (blanket)

WHEN?  5/18/2018  AT 12:15-1:30PM

WHERE?  Horizon Park (right across the parking lot from Hedenkamp)

HOW? We will be walking to the park. Please wear sunscreen – you may want to wear a hat and/or sunglasses too

Which 4th graders made it to Phase II of training? Check it out!

We are so happy so happy to announce that our 4th grader trainee have completed the first phase of their training.  For the first time, 100% of our trainees who took the test passed the test and made it to phase II of training, which will last for the rest of this school year.  These students will be official patrol members for 2018-19.  We are so excited!

Happy 2018!

Mrs. Ware & Mrs. Rose are so proud of the caliber of our squads!  We all represent what it truly means to “Be a Husky”.  We look forward to you continuing to be role models and leaders on campus.  Thank you for all your dedication and hard work.

Fall Camp Opportunity for Safety Patrol!

The School Resource Unit is holding a two Day camp for Safety patrollers.  Similar to Safety Patrol Camp in the summer, this camp will be available to 5th and 6thgrade students.  This camp will be held during the fall break.  It will only be for two days.  This is something we are willing to expand and hopefully hold at every break.

Camp dates this year:  Tuesday September 19 and Wednesday 20, 2017.  This camp opportunity is for 5th and 6th  grade Safety Patrol members onlyIt is limited to 100 Safety Patrol Members so please don’t delay.

Campers are selected on a first come first served basis so, the first 100 members to turn in their completed, signed packet with paymentwill attend.  The cost is only $40 dollars, cash or checks and money orders made payable toChula Vista Police Foundation”

Every year the safety patrol members that attend camp have the time of their lives.  It is a once in a lifetime experience for them.  It is a reward for the 6th grade safety patrol members for all their hard work and dedication. 
Packets may be submitted at the front counter of the Police department starting MondayAugust 21st. The deadline for the package to be turned in is no later than Friday, September 1st.  
 
Again, only 100 safety patrol members will be able to attend, so the first 100completed applications we receive will get to go. Don’t  miss out on this amazing opportunity!
